By using wrentrack you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose. If something here is unclear, ask us before you sign up.
What wrentrack is
wrentrack helps you keep track of rent, tenants and expenses for the places you rent out. It is a record keeping tool. It does not collect rent for you, move money, or hold anyone's money.
The free pilot
wrentrack is in a free pilot. Features can change, break or go away while we improve it. We will do our best to give you notice and a way to export your data before anything big changes.
Your account
- You must be an adult and able to enter into a contract where you live.
- Keep your phone, email and Google account secure. What happens through your sign-in is on you.
- Give us correct details. Do not sign in as someone else.
Your data stays yours
Everything you put into wrentrack belongs to you. You give us permission to store it and show it back to you and your team so the app can work. You can export it any time.
You are responsible for the details you add about your tenants. Only add what you are allowed to keep.
What you agree not to do
- Break the law or use the app to harm anyone.
- Try to get into accounts or data that are not yours.
- Send spam or abusive messages through the app.
- Overload or attack the service.
Messages and receipts
When you send a receipt or a reminder, it goes out in your name to the phone number you entered. Check that the number and the amount are right before you send. You are responsible for the messages you choose to send.
Not legal, tax or financial advice
wrentrack does not give legal, tax or accounting advice. Receipts and reports are there to help you keep records. Check anything important with a professional, especially for tax and tenancy law.
No promises about uptime
We work hard to keep wrentrack running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. The CSV export is there for that.
Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, wrentrack is provided as it is, and we are not responsible for lost rent, missed payments or other losses that come from using the app. During the free pilot, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us, which is nothing.
Ending things
You can stop using wrentrack and ask us to delete your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using wrentrack after that, you accept the new terms.
